Apakah reaksi Menteri Dalam Negeri jika tajuk berita di atas adalah benar?
Apa yang pasti beliau akan berkata,
"Demonstrasi bukanlah jalan penyelesaian. Jadi, kita beri amaran kepada sesiapa yang berhasrat untuk menyertai demonstrasi tersebut. Kita akan tangkap sesiapa yang menyertainya. Negara kita ada undang-undang. Kita boleh berbincang. Demonstrasi itu adalah haram kerana tidak ada permit...."
Tetapi lain pula nada yang disuarakan oleh Menteri Dalam Negeri itu. Dalam Bernama hari ini,
[BERNAMA] PUTRAJAYA, Jan 6 - Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said on Wednesday the government does not prohibit the people from expressing their views on the issue over the use of the word "Allah" by the Catholic weekly magazine Herald, but on condition that their actions do not undermine national security.
"I will take action if it affects security," he told reporters after chairing a post-Cabinet meeting at his ministry, here.He said the ministry would monitor Internet blogsites on the matter and would act if national security was threatened.
"It is our duty to ensure that their actions do not undermine security, and to take action before anything untoward happens," he said.Hishammuddin was responding to reporters' questions on plans by several organisations to stage a demonstration on Friday to protest against the use of the word "Allah" by other religions.
Begitulah sikap "double standard" yang ditunjukkan oleh Menteri Dalam Negeri itu. Bagi Tok Kiyai mudah sahaja, kerajaan BN akan menghalalkan demonstrasi jika menguntungkan politik mereka....
